October 20th marks two years since the creation of 3Love Inc. It has been 48 months of learning, overcoming challenges and the satisfaction to see that we are contributing with our small grain of sand to create a positive impact in other people's lives.

As an anniversary celebration, we want to share with our friends and readers of the blog the news of two new projects that we have been working hard on and that will soon be a reality.

1. Pastry workshop for the Yesenia Saenz Soup Kitchen

We will implement a pilot baking workshop in the Yesenia Saenz Soup Kitchen, located in Huaycán, in Lima - Peru. The main mission of this workshop will be to train and teach new skills to the women who live and work there.

Our hope is that learning new skills in the field of baking and pastry making will contribute to empowering them and improving their self-esteem as individuals within their community.

In addition, this workshop will help the beneficiaries to generate resources for the Soup Kitchen, but also resources for themselves and their families.

To achieve these goals, a teacher specialized in baking will be hired. Likewise, 3Love Inc. will contribute with the purchase of material for the implementation of a new floor in the Soup Kitchen, where the classes will be held.

We will also support each woman who participates in the workshop to obtain a health license. This will ensure that we can count on optimum levels of hygiene and sanitation.

Subsequently, other equipment will be purchased for the workshop, which will start operating in November.

2. Publication of Chapter 2 of the short story “Seeing Through Sounds”: “Wise Sparrow to the rescue”

With great joy, we also want to share the news that chapter 2 of the children's story “Seeing Through Sounds”, which is part of the “I Have a Purpose” project, will soon be published. Last year we published Chapter 1, entitled “Sounds of Friendship”, in which we met Adam, a visually impaired boy, and his friend Lily.

Now it is the turn of the second part, entitled “Wise Sparrow to the Rescue”. In this chapter, little Lily will get into trouble and a superhero will come to her rescue. To her great surprise, she recognizes the voice of her savior. From now on, Lily will have to keep a big secret.

“Wise Sparrow to the Rescue” will be available on Amazon since November.

The 3Love Inc. team would like to thank all the people and institutions that have accompanied us in these first two years, because together we have achieved many goals. We are committed to continue working to fulfill new dreams and continue growing hand in hand with all the communities that we have the pleasure of helping to develop.

El 20 de octubre se cumplen dos años desde la creación de 3Love Inc. Han sido 48 meses de aprendizajes, retos superados y muchas satisfacciones al comprobar que estamos contribuyendo con nuestro pequeño grano de arena a crear un impacto positivo en la vida de otras personas.

A manera de celebración de aniversario, queremos compartir con nuestros amigos y lectores del blog la noticia de dos nuevos proyectos en los que hemos venido trabajando arduamente y que pronto serán una realidad.

1. Taller de repostería para la Olla Común Yesenia Saenz

Implementaremos un taller piloto de repostería en la Olla Común Yesenia Saenz, ubicada en la localidad de Huaycán, en Lima – Perú. La misión principal de este taller será formar y enseñar nuevas habilidades a las mujeres que viven y laboran allí.

Nuestro deseo es que el aprendizaje de nuevas habilidades en el campo de la panadería y pastelería, contribuya a empoderarlas y a mejorar su autoestima como individuos dentro de su comunidad.

Además, este taller va a servir para que las beneficiarias puedan generar recursos para la olla común, pero también recursos propios para ellas y sus familias.

Para lograr estos fines, se va a contratar a una profesora especializada en repostería. Asimismo, 3Love Inc va a contribuir con la compra del material para la implementación de un nuevo piso en el espacio de la olla común, donde se dictarán las clases.

También se va a apoyar a cada señora que participa en el taller para que tramiten un carnet de sanidad. De ese modo, garantizaremos que podemos contar con niveles óptimos de higiene y salubridad.

Posteriormente, se realizará la adquisición de otros implementos para el taller, el cual empezará a funcionar en noviembre.

2. Publicación del Capítulo 2 del cuento “Viendo a través de los sonidos”: “Wise Sparrow al rescate”

Con mucha alegría, también queremos compartir la noticia que próximamente se publicará el capítulo 2 del cuento para niños “Viendo a través de los sonidos”, el cual forma parte del proyecto “Tengo un propósito”. El año pasado publicamos el capítulo 1, titulado “Sonidos de amistad”, en el que conocimos a Adam, un niño con discapacidad visual, y su amiga Lily.

Ahora toca el turno de la segunda parte, que lleva por título “Wise Sparrow al rescate”. En este capítulo la pequeña Lily caerá en problemas y un superhéroe llegará a su rescate. Grande será su sorpresa al reconocer la voz de su salvador. A partir de ahora, Lily deberá guardar un gran secreto.

“Wise Sparrow al rescate” estará disponible en Amazon a partir del mes de noviembre.

El equipo de 3Love Inc. quiere agradecer a todas las personas e instituciones que nos han acompañado en estos dos primeros años, porque juntos hemos logrado muchas metas. Nos comprometemos a seguir trabajando para cumplir nuevos sueños y seguir creciendo de la mano de todas las comunidades a las que tenemos el placer de ayudar a desarrollarse.
